Emerging or classic, Italian or from abroad: these are the characteristics of the new photographers whose work Alidem is pleased to present. Silvia Elorduy, Pino Dal Gal, Cesare Di Liborio, Raffaele Montepaone and Martin Rak's amazing photos are now available to purchase in our shops. The shots by Silvia Elorduy (1987, Algeciras – Spain) look like theatrical scenery where the nude bodies powerfully stand out against the white background. Raffaele Montepaone (1980, Vibo Valentia – Italy) is a young talented photographer who portrays faces and bodies marked by the ravages of time, showing a slice of the traditional Calabrian way of life. A prominent Italian photographer, Pino Dal Gal (1936, Verona – Italy) brings the unseen to life, unveiling the magical side of our world through his camera – and magic is also what links his work to Cesare Di Liborio's, according to whom “an image on white paper is always a little magic”. Last but not least, Martin Rak (1984, Prague – Czech Republic) explores enchanted landscapes where reality and imagination are blended together and enrapture the observers with their melancholic atmosphere.
